HENRY BOWEN 

I'm Henry Bowen,  a 17 year old creative director and music artist from Colchester, UK.

Truth be told, I can't remember when exactly it was that I started taking an interest in music, it was a series of events. 

I read a lot of books when I was younger, which is how I got into writing writing poems when I was around 8 years old.

I discovered that I could perform my poems over hip hop beats I found on YouTube. 

That's how I discovered rapping.

I wrote my first song and performed it at my school talent show, I lost.

I took the loss poorly but remained determined to better myself. 

I started listening to more and more music, and finding stuff that inspired me. 

I am always naming Moby as one of my main inspirations for wanting to produce music. 

I borrowed (stole) a CD of his 1999 album "Play" off of my Dad when I was 14 years old.

I used to have a pocket sized CD player I used to listen to it with on my walk to school. 

It was the only CD I had at the time and I bumped Moby everyday for like 6 months until my CD player broke.

Around the same time as that I would bunk class to boot up Bandlab on a school computer and make beats.

I still do that to this day, except now I'm in college.

I love music. It's all I want to do.

I want to improve at my craft, and I want you to watch.
